Job description: In the framework of a research project funded by AIRBUS, this doctoral thesis will deal with the development of experimental methods to assess the damage tolerance and fatigue behaviour of adhesives used to repair composite structures.
Elegibility: Applicants should hold a BE degree in Materials, Aeronautics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and a Master in a related field. Particular emphasis will be placed on scientific qualifications within the subject area.
Duration: full time for a period of 3-years (one-year extension is possible)
Salary: 1000 Euros per month during the first year and 1150 Euros for the second and third year. These amounts correspond to gross salary.

- Deadline for applications: 12th of September 2010.
- Communication of decision to candidates: 22th of September 2010,
- Date of incorporation: 15th of October or 1st of November 2010 (incorporation may be delayed if the awarded student must obtain a visa to study in Spain).
