TENARIS is seeking Corporate Environmental Expert to assist and support Corporate Environmental Manager performing environmental studies on specific areas and assessments in facilities in order to ensure compliance with Tenaris Environmental Policy and applicable regulation locally in force. Also, to provide support in specific environment - related institutional activities.
Term: 6 months / 1 year
Main Tasks:
• Participate in the elaboration, discussion and review of Corporate Environmental Procedures and Corporate HSE Procedures on the environmental aspects involved.
• Communicate and explain Procedures to Environmental Local Managers.
• Track and control Procedures Implementation
• Support Environmental Local Managers in specific duties (such as Assessment of Environmental Aspects, Evaluation of Legal Aspects, etc.) as required
• Collaborate with Corporate Environment Managers in the issuance of the HSE Management Report
• Provide assistance to local environment managers in the management of environmental liabilities due to past actions in closed sites (non operative), particularly in USA
• Participate in Specific Projects. Presently two important Projects ongoing:
o a) Support the development of the Tamsa Expansion Project providing advise on Environmental Best Available Technologies for the design process - joinlty with local TAMSA Environmental Responsible
o b) Follow up of an specific Project related with environmental aspects associates with the utilization of lubricants with Boron.
• Collaborate with Corporate Environment Management in the production of specific corporate reports, such as those required by adherence so NYSEC regulations (SOX 404) and others
• Monitor local environmental training programs implementation
• Eventually participate in institutional related events such as meeting, congresses, etc. related with Environmental Aspects
Some of these activities (particularly assessments and Support the Tenaris Tamsa Expansion Project in Mexico) will require availability for traveling to different parts of the world where Tenaris develops its activities. In general travels will last for less than 10/12 days. Frequency of travels is variable, but we can consider one travel each 45 days as a basis (around 7 travels in the 12 month period).
