Service Engineer Assessed (Subdomain PBN) Argentina
Responsibilities:
A Services Engineer at career stage assessed provides technical services and support to new and existing customer networks, and applies standard processes to resolve malfunctions. The job holder may conduct limited customized Configuration and integration of products/networks as well as some software adaptation within a given framework and in accordance to contract specification.
Deliver services within site engineering, integration and/or configuration and/or support of products and networks in accordance with clearly defined specification in the customer contract.
Identify and isolate malfunctioning systems/nodes and if possible apply resolving processes.
Execute programming on parts of IT-tools to enable that the tools can be used to deliver services in the day to day operations.
Plan and design networks within a given framework and in accordance to contract specification. Participate in network optimisation.
Conduct limited customised configuration, integration and some software adaptation of products/networks, including 3rd party products.
Carry out appropriate site design and layout, after a site has been approved.
Provide parts of training courses to the company employees in order to increase the knowledge of products, networks and solutions, within telecom and datacom.
When applicable, identify add on sales opportunities and address the opportunities to the appropriate function within the company.
Required experience:
Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, telecom) OR 1-2 years academic studies combined with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Learns and is getting trained in the company processes, methods and tools to gain experience. Also participate in mentored, practical experiences to expand his or her companies knowledge.
Fluent English and Spanish.
